Milestone Kids

Milestone Kids is a safe, fun and interactive environment designed to teach children at Milestone about the good news of Jesus! Through stories, crafts, and activities, we strive to make learning about Jesus fun and memorable.

  • Upon arrival you will be greeted by a volunteer who can assist with check in and answer any questions. If it is your first drop off, the volunteer can walk you through the check-in system where you will be asked to provide some basic information. You will receive a name tag for your child as well as a parent code tag. Hold on to that parent code for pickup after service! The parent code is matched with your child after service to ensure a safe pick-up.

After check-in, children who are pre-k and younger can be immediately dropped off in First Steps or Bible Buddies prior to the start of the worship service. All children in kindergarten and older are asked to join the beginning part of corporate worship. Just before the sermon, elementary students will be dismissed to join their teachers at the main doors located at the rear of the Worship Center.

  • The First Steps classroom welcomes toddlers up to three years old to play and learn together. Children can be dropped off in First Steps immediately after check-in and before the start of the worship service.

  • Bible Buddies is the classroom for children 3 years through pre-k. Bible Buddies offers time for free play, snack, an interactive Bible lesson video, and coloring. Children can be dropped off in Bible Buddies immediately after check-in and prior to the start of the worship service.

  • Kingdom Kids is our option for elementary aged students, split into two groups: K-2nd and 3-5th. Children are placed in classes based on their grade as of September 1. Kingdom Kids is structured with interactive lessons, crafts, and games led by multiple teachers.

After check-in, Kingdom Kids students are asked to join the beginning of our corporate worship service for songs and prayer. Students are then dismissed to their classrooms right before the sermon begins.

  • 5th Sundays are an irregular occurrence in the calendar year that offer an exciting opportunity for our church. For services that fall on a 5th Sunday, we do not offer Kingdom Kids. Instead, we use these four Sundays each year to encourage parents to have children kindergarten or older join them for our entire corporate worship gathering. For the children joining the service we will provide some supplies (crayons, coloring/activity sheets, etc.) to help with entertainment and focus. First Steps and Bible Buddies will remain open on 5th Sundays.
